ACTIVE HOPE: A Study Group with Lynne Iser
Learn how to help yourself and others become, nourished, energized, empowered and inspired to take action on behalf of life on earth.
Well-known advocate and founder of Elder-Activists.Org, Lynne Iser uses the teachings of eco-philosopher Joanna Macy and The Pachamama Alliance to inspire educate, and engage with people in a process of conscious aging. Join her for the second FIRST in a series of three Monday evening Study Group sessions in the WW Community Room at 555 Carpenter Lane in Mt. Airy. (The First in the series was originally scheduled for February 15, but that was cancelled due to bad weather, and the whole series has been pushed forward). Lynne will lead a discussion of the book "ACTIVE HOPE: How to Face the Mess We're In Without Going Crazy," co-authored by Macy and Chris Johnstone. Take advantage of this great opportunity to explore how "ACTIVE HOPE" can help us each find a role in the collective transition – ‘The Great Turning’-- to a life-sustaining society. February 22 & 29, & March 7th, at 7:00 p.m.
