Germantown boasts a variety of unique community gardens, many of which have been tended to for over 30 years, while others are more recent additions to the neighborhood. Join the Sierra Club and the Neighborhood Gardens Trust for a 5 mile bike tour exploring five different community gardens. Gardeners will share stories and experiences from the garden and be able to answer any questions. The tour will also highlight the collaborations that are essential for preserving green space long term and will showcase urban leaders, who are making a positive and lasting change in their communities.
