The West Mt. Airy Neighbors Streetscapes Committee will plant several new street trees on Saturday, April 22. Volunteers wanted!

Meet up at 9 a.m. at the Allen Lane Art Center, 601 W. Allens Lane, for coffee and assignments. You'll be paired with trained Tree Tenders and landscape professionals, then spread throughout the community to plant bare root street trees provided by the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society and the Plant a Million initiative.

No experience is necessary, tools provided — what a great way to celebrate Earth Day 2017. Bring friends and family members!
