Weavers Way Sustainability Workshop: Seed Starting for Native Plants

Friday, March 23, 2018 - 7:00pm to 8:30pm

Join us for a hands-on seed-starting workshop for spring planting!

For your $30 donation, the workshop will provide one 48-cell tray filled with potting soil, along with a selection of native seeds from Prairie Moon Nursery — a $129 value! You'll also receive plenty of guidance on planting and maintaining your native plants to establish a pollinator friendly garden. We'll provide an overview of other tips and sources of information on native plants. Seeds will include Rose Milkweed, Smooth Blue Aster and many more!

Space limited to 30 people. All funds raised will support the groundbreaking research efforts of Environmental Metrics Unlimited.

REGISTER HERE.

This Weavers Way sustainability workshop will be taught by Christopher Sohnly, native plant landscape designer and owner of Spruce Hollow Designs.

Weavers Way workshops include presentations, hands-on classes, book studies, film screenings and discussions. Weavers Way members who lead workshops get three hours of work credit — what a great way to earn, or maintain, your Working Member status for 5% off all your purchases!
