Calling all West Mt Airy residents! West Mt Airy Neighbors (WMAN) is looking for interested, energetic and engaged neighbors to join the board of directors. Board members serve a 3 year term and help guide the initiatives that preserve and enhance the great quality of life that exists in our neighborhood. WMAN founded in 1959, serves as a community based volunteer organization committed to preserving and enhancing the quality of life in its richly diverse urban neighborhood. We are seeking individuals to serve on the WMAN Board who wish to dedicate themselves to and participate in, the organization's efforts to further its broad-ranging goals, among which are to build and strengthen a sense of community among residents, effectively advocate on behalf of the community, and improve Mt. Airy's physical environment.
