Workshop for Your Kids with Mindy Flexer

Thursday, July 7, 2016 - 5:30pm to 7:30pm

It was so great to have Artist and Teacher Mindy Flexer leading children in an upcycling art activity at the Spring General Membership Meeting.  Now she's back, turning our Garage on Carpenter Lane into a pop-up artist studio for a couple of hours during Chillin' & Truckin' in Mt. Airy!  Grab som e dinner from Mucho Bueno, dessert from Zsa's Ice Cream, enjoy live music, and visit with Mindy any time between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m.

Bring the whole family and learn how to transform old paper or cardboard into beautiful artwork! You and your children are invited to make puppets, books, cards, and other great stuff out of such things as old calendars, used wrapping paper, junk mail and gift boxes, etc. You can draw, paint, print, build, and collage. Your imagination is the limit!
