Weavers Way is a member-owned cooperative grocery with locations in Northwest Philadelphia. We offer a friendly shopping environment and reasonably priced, high-quality products that are local, sustainable, organic, fairly traded and healthful.

Does supporting your local economy appeal to you? What about supporting your own food co-op with a member loan? How much more local can you get than that? As part of financing our expansion to Ambler, we're reaching out to our members for loans in support of site preparation and construction. Loans from members will constitute an essential piece of the overall funding of the project.

This year's Harvest on Henry featured our largest turnout yet, with more than 1,200 people counted at the main entrance. The music was great, the weather was perfect, and the food was better than ever with Weavers Way running the grills.

With agriculture dominated by mega-producers, it’s reassuring to find a favorite product packaged and distributed by a local family business. One example: Fruitwood Orchards in South Jersey, which provides honey, both bottled and bulk, to Weavers Way.

You minded the dust, and stepped around the mud, and dodged the heavy equipment. Now it's your turn to enjoy the new Backyard at the Chestnut Hill store.
