Philadelphia March Against Monsanto

Saturday, May 21, 2016 - 12:00pm to 5:00pm

Join the Weavers Way Environment & Food Justice Committees, along with tens of thousands of activists around the world who will “March Against Monsanto” on Saturday May 21st. Marches are being planned on six continents, in 36 countries, in a total of over 250 cities. 

Here's the plan in Philly:

Noon: Gather (indoors) at the  Friends Center, 1501 Cherry St, Philadelphia PA  for live music with The Radicans and Speakers including Kristina Baxter, Chris Bolden-Newsome, Lan Dinh,  Nathan Kleinman, Melissa Miles,  Zofia Hausmann, Robyn Mello, , Vinnie Staub

1:45PM  - Walk to Thomas Paine Plaza. 1401 John F Kennedy Blvd
2:00 PM - The March sets out for a 2 mile trek 
2:45 PM - Return to the Friends center for more Music, Speakers and a Solution Fair
